On 13.11.2024 at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, an open lecture was held on the topic "Role of Technology and Innovation in the Modern World". The lecture was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arch. Gichka Kutova - Kamenova - Rector of UACEG. Participants in the lecture were Mr. Rosen Plevneliev - President of the Republic of Bulgaria 2012-2017 and Chairman of the Lozen Tech Park Advisory Board; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Hristov Ranchev – General Manager of "Lindner Immobilien Management" EOOD and "Lozen Tech Park" EOOD, Head of the "Financial Control" Department, UNSS, as well as Dobromir Ivanov - Executive Director of the Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Association and Member of the Advisory Board of Lozen Tech Park. The lecture marked the beginning of a contest organized by "Lozen Tech Park" EOOD in partnership with the UACEG and includes a prize fund with cash prizes.

The Rector of UACEG Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arch. Gichka Kutova - Kamenova opened the lecture and welcomed all the attendees. She expressed her support for similar projects and announced the university's decision to include the competition, organized by "Lozen Tech Park" EOOD and UASG, in the educational process of some of the students from the above courses.

Mr. Rosen Plevneliev told more about the German Lindner Group as a world leader in the field of finishing works, about Lindner's projects in Bulgaria, including Business Park Sofia, Residential Park Sofia and Residential Park Lozen, as well as about their influence on the development of the urban environment and business in the capital. He emphasized his belief that in the future it will be Germany that will be the leader in the field of construction and technology, and in this context, future projects such as "Lozen Tech Park" are extremely promising and deserve our attention.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Ranchev told more about "Lozen Tech Park", presenting the vision of the German investor „Lindner“ for the project - a high-tech park of a new generation, an innovative complex of modern buildings amidst lots of greenery and close to nature, or as the project's motto says: «Office in the park, park in the office.» "Lozen Tech Park" will be a platform for dialogue, exchange of ideas and knowledge, innovation and experimentation and sharing of creativity, products and solutions, a place for cooperation between business, the academic community and the state.

Mr. Dobromir Ivanov said that Bulgaria is already recognized as a leader in the region in the development of projects and startups and how this success rests on " Connectivity" - the success of one company attracts many other investors to our country and leads to the success of other companies as well. He also emphasized on personal qualities, values and virtues as a necessary and integral element of the modern business environment.

In the past year, "Lozen Tech Park" EOOD signed Memorandums of Cooperation with several universities. The purpose of this partnership with the Bulgarian academic community is to contribute to the modernization and development of technologies in the construction sector, giving a chance to young talented, ambitious and prosperous students and specialists to come forward and realize their ideas.
