A seminar was held for the contest of Lozen Tech Park and UNWE
5 Mar 2025On March 4th, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. in the “Tarzhestvena” Hall of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), a seminar was held, part of a competition on the topic "Technologies and Innovations for Sustainable Development",organized by "Lozen Tech Park" EOOD with the kind assistance and partnership of the UNWE. The seminar is aimed at all those interested and willing to participate. The seminar’s objective is to explain in detail the regulation of the competition, give some guidelines for work and answer all questions from the participants.
The seminar was opened by Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov - Rector of UNWE, participants were Mr. Rosen Plevneliev - President of the Republic of Bulgaria 2012-2017 and Chairman of the Lozen Tech Park Advisory Board; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Hristov Ranchev – General Manager of "Lindner Immobilien Management" EOOD and "Lozen Tech Park" EOOD, Head of the "Financial Control" Department, UNSS, as well as Dobromir Ivanov - Executive Director of the Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Association and Member of the Advisory Board of Lozen Tech Park, as well as Konstantin Rangelov, Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Dronamics - the first cargo drone airline in Europe with an operating license.
Mr. Plevneliev called on the students present to participate in the competition by expressing their ideas, which can subsequently be implemented with the help of a stable investor such as "Lozen Tech Park". Dobromir Ivanov shared some of his experience in startups and the successful presentation of business ideas. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Ranchev gave valuable guidance on the preparation and structuring of projects, and at the end Konstantin Rangelov emphasized the qualities that every young entrepreneur should possess, the most valuable of which is adaptability.
The contest started in October 2024 and organizer is going to provide a prize fund with cash prizes. More about the contest you can read here:
